Quotes from the girls.

This month just happens to be Ellie's birthday. She is such a cute little girl! I know I am bias! She had been bugging me when is it May? Well May came and she got a big smile on her face. "It's my Month". I said to her well Daddy has a birthday this month too, and the whole month is just not for you. She found a paper bag and wrote on it, then filled it with chips, why I really don't know. She wrote "May is for me, Daddy and Ashes", since the cat's birthday is in May too, and no we don't celebrate it! You can't tell that she is very excited to turn 6!
Another one of her sayings this month that I thought was so cute, was "I am going to marry a cute man, just like daddy and no tattoos, those are bad"
There is a saying that reminds me of her: "My prince has come and his name is Daddy". That fits that girl to a tee. I need to put it up in her room.

Jalyse has been worried about testing all week long. She is a very smart girl, but she gets nervous. Math testing is today. She said she did good on all the testing so far, and it wasn't' really as hard as she thought it was going to be. Math thou she said she was going to "ROCK on". I know she will! She loves that subject! I love her a ton!

My favorite thing she says is: "It's not my fault I am tall, you married someone who is tall"

My girls had a odd conversation this week. They were talking about who they wanted to marry. For some reason, they really like talking about their ethnicity. They are a lot of different things all rolled up into one. They were saying that "I am going to marry some buddy that has Mexican heritage, no I am going to marry someone with Danish heritage". I am glad they are proud of their heritage, but I did remind them they just fall in love with who they fall in love with and you really don't get to pick what heritage they come from. 'We'll do interviews"

I love hearing what kids say. They are always so funny... the way they think! So cute.

Bah, hahaha! That was hilarious. I wish I was as smart as they are when I was looking for a mate; I would have done interviews!
