Strawberry days is always a fun thing for us to look forward to. Its a great community event. They have a children's parade every year. This year they changed the location of it. We started off by the high school track. I really liked the change in venue, it was nice to have a change. The ward gave the kids each a red balloon to carry. They had to really hold on to them, they were going to blow away!

The weather this day was terrible! It was so windy and the sky was so dark. We were hoping we could finish the parade before it rained, but no such luck. It poured! I am so glad I brought and umbrella. It was kinda of fun walking in the rain. We had Lydia with us and the girls seemed to be having a great time! Despite the weather there were a ton of people that came! I was really surprised. I am glad to see that such a nice tradition is still being carried on.

I remember walking down main street for the children's parade. They don't do that anymore, and yes I guess I am old! I really love Strawberry Days and I am glad we are able to go as a family.
