Jalyse at Manhattan Beach
We went to Manhattan beach when we were in California. John decided that he was going boogie boarding. Something he use to do all the time, but mind you it has been years since he last went. The California boy has turned into a Utah boy. He went out and gave it his best try, but he said there weren't enough waves.John on the boogie board
We let the kids go into the ocean, but since it was such a strong current that day we had to hold their hand every time they went in. I like them to experience the ocean, but I am not so keen on having to hold their hands every time they go in. I think next time we will have to go to the Seaside Lagoon. Its the ocean, but it's sectioned off.
They had a great time playing in the sand and covering up their cousin Ashanti.Ashanti buried himself in the sand
I like the beach, but the older I get the more I am a pool person! I really can only stand the sand for so long and having to hold the kids hands the entire time wasn't all that fun. I know the beach is free and you can have hours of fun, but give me my pool with no sand please :)
We had a fun time at the beach and it was nice to see the kids laughing and screaming in the waves.
