We got to a spot and started waiting for the fish to come. It was a little interesting fishing. It was windy out on the lake. The lines all kept coming to close to each other and you had to keep casting out.
We weren't getting any bits, so we decided to move spots. We were hoping for better luck!
Ellie just waiting for a fish! Come on Fish!
We didn't have any luck in the second spot we tried either. This picture above me is of Ashtyn and Ellie praying for fish! They were chanting. Come on fishes where are you? Come on Fishy , fishy we want you. It was so cute to hear them. They really wanted to catch something! We decided to move again to Mud Creek. We were hoping for a little less wind and some fish!
Jalyse has a bite!
We didn't have to wait long to catch a fish at our third spot. Jalyse was the first to catch one. She reeled it in all on her own! Great job! She is even getting better at casting. She was sooo excited she caught one!
This is Jalyse's Fish Bob, yes Bob. The silly girls all named the fish they caught that day. We usually just catch and release, and that is what we did that day. It took Bob awhile to go back down in the lake, but he finally made it! While Jalyse was catching her fish I had Ellie's line stuck on the bottom. We had to cut the line and re-string it. We had just gotten Ellie's line back in the water when I noticed it was tangled at the top. I had just started fixing the line and Trin came over and flipped something over and we had a fish on the line! Holy Cow! I still had my hand on the pole, I had to have Ellie come over really fast and start reeling it in. She was thrilled there was a fish on her line!
