Fall Break Vacation

For fall break we took a trip to Vegas. The hotel we stay at has a great pool area and it is off of the strip. The weather was fabulous! It was so warm! We spent every morning, tell lunch, in the pool and the lazy river. It was great not to have to worry about work or school stuff! The girls had a blast playing in the sand. The pool was really warm, but the lazy river it was cold! We didn't spend to much time over there because of that fact. We went and bought a beach ball and some sand toys, so everyone enjoyed playing volleyball in the water.

This is the lazy river. This picture didn't turn out all that great, but I don't have very many of Jaden. Saturday he was sick, so he didn't come to the pool. Hence the down fall of everyone was coming!

We rented one tube and we took turns going around the pool on it. Poor Ellie was freezing, so I didn't get a picture of her on the tube. I think she went once and then sat out. The pool water was much warmer.

The pool has an area of sand that comes down in the water. The girls had a blast making castles and burring their daddy in the sand. They spent hours just in the sand!

We all played volleyball. Ellie even tried to play in her floaty. It was too deep for her to stand up. Saturday was the last day we went swimming. Jaden didn't come down and John only spent about an hour down in the pool, because he started not feeling well. The girls and I spent hours in the pool. We had a great time.

We did this whole vacation on the cheap. We had a great deal on the room, so we just had to be creative with our food. The place had a kitchenette, but no stove. We brought a griddle and a hot plate, so we ate all our breakfast and lunches and one dinner in our room. We had a gift certificate, so that became one of our dinners. We only splurged once and went out to dinner. We did some shopping for some Halloween costume stuff and went on an adventure down the strip to look at the gardens in Bellagio. I will do a separate post on Bellagio. The place was so cool we took a lot of pictures. We had a great mini vacation!
