The Klondike! Oh what more can I say? I nice camping trip in the snow! This year, it just happened to be a blizzard! Poor kids. They went up in the mountains to compete in the Klondike. They had to build a sled and push it to different stops and complete different tasks. They have to complete the course and every task they complete they get a nugget. These poor kids and leaders all had to set up in a blizzard and in the morning, they had to shovel off 8 inches of snow! They use a sled and push one of the group around in it to do all the different tasks.

oh Jaden's favorite food! Oatmeal. Really he only eats it at scouts! Scouts has gotten him to try a few new foods. Thanks Scouts!

Jaden's goal, this time, was to finish the race. They have never finished one before. They finished this one! Way to go boys! They weren't first, but they weren't last, so they did a great job! 120 nuggets in all collected and all body parts in tact and not frozen off! Go Klondike!

I just don't know how they do it. Makes me glad I'm a girl and never had to go on one of those. It's definitely a plus that all limbs were in tact! I always worry that the poor boys are going to freeze to death! I don't look forward to having to worry about my boys. Good thing I've got a few years :) Looks like Jaden had a great time, though.
I just don't get this...and I am so glad I am not a boy. That's all! Miss you...
