This is our spot on the beach. We went and played in the water every day. The water is really shallow. You can go out a very long distance before it gets deep. We loved that it was shallow. I felt more comfortable with the kids in the water, but they still had to have their life jackets on! We camped just up from the beach, so we would take turns on the four wheelers taking everyone down to the beach. It was my first time riding on a four wheeler and it was a blast! I think I want one. I know I will just add that to my very long lists of things I want. My husband gives me grief, but a girl can dream right???
This is me trying out the four wheeler for the first time. Such a cute picture, NOT!!
The water was actually pretty warm, and its warmer then Yuba. Everyone kept telling me the water is really cold. I didn't think so.
Ellie and Jalyse and the rest of the boys spent hours playing in the sand. They dug and dug.
The Johnson's rented a boat for one day. All the kids and the men went to play on the boat. That cool thing, behind John, is a 4 person thing you can pull behind the boat. All of the kids got to ride it and they all just loved it! The Pulley's also bought a water trampoline, so everyone enjoyed bouncing on that. It isn't as easy as it looks!
We rode the ski doos too. I have to say I really like them. I just go the speed I am comfortable with, and they call me grandma. I like to go about 30 so if that is grandma, o well!
Amy, Scott and Andrew
Friday night we went down to the lake and lite some fireworks. Andrew had bought a pack of them and they were the ones that went up in the air! They were so cool. Another family, that was down there, was lighting them off too. They had a ton of them! Between the two of us, it was quit the show! We were going to go back down Sat night to light off more of them, but really I think everyone was too tired.
