16 and counting! Happy Anniversary!

John and I just celebrated our 16 anniversary. It really has been that long? I don't know where time goes. It doesn't really seem like it has been that long.
On the day of our anniversary we woke up to this cute sign:

Ellie had put a lot of work into making this and put it up herself. I knew she was making it, but she caught me off guard by putting it up before she went to bed. It really made me smile! Thanks Ellie!
John and I went out to dinner at outback and then home to the kids. We ended up with a free dinner! They never can cook my steak the way I like it. I always have to send it back!
Last weekend we went and celebrated! We decided we were going to take the kids on a little mini vacation. We went to Layton. Yes good old Layton! We got a great deal on two bedroom Marriott suite, so we went for a little R and R.
I won a $100 gift card that I could use at the Roof /Garden/Lion House/Navuoo Restaurants, so we took the kids all out to dinner to celebrate. (Thanks Deseret Book for the Gift Card!)
We had the kids dress up and we went out for dinner. We had a great time together and enjoyed the view.
We had a nice time shopping at the mall, swimming in the pool, watching tv, relaxing and making dinner. It was a great getaway and we loved every minute of relaxing. Here is to eternity! Happy Anniversary Honey!
