BYU Gymnastics Meet

We took Ellie to the BYU Gymnastics meet on Saturday. Her school teacher gave her some discounts tickets for the event. Her sister is one of the BYU gymnasts. Ellie was really excited to go see her teachers sister perform.
Ellie took gymnastics for a couple of years and then I didn't think she was learning anything from the rec center so I pulled her out. I had every intentions of putting her in some other class, but I have yet to put her in anything. I let her take tumbling last summer, but I think she really wants to get back into gymnastics.

Cosmo performed and he was trying out all the gymnastic events. Beam was not his strong point, but he gave it a good shot :)

BYU was up against Arizona. They were doing great, but then BYU had a couple of falls on the un-even bars. It was a little heartbreaking. That cost them the meet, so they lost. It was still great to see a meet in person and I think it really made an impression on Ellie. On Sunday, Ellie went to town in her room. This is what she did:

She got some posters and some programs at the event, so she put them all over her walls. She also made this cute sign.

I really think she got really into gymnastics! Now if only I can come up with the money to put her back in. Go Ellie!
