Brigham Young's House

This is Brigham Young's winter house in St George. I had never been here before. I love this house! This is just a side view. We were able to go on a tour around the grounds and in the house. It was really neat to see where the Profit lived. Once again the geek in my for the architecture!

This is Brigham Young's room. He slept by himself, which I thought was interesting. His wives had their own rooms. He had a large sitting area and two tables.

This is his bed. I have to say I love this bed! It was such a grand looking bed.

I don't know if you can read that or not, but that is an herb garden. Jaden and his friends say "dill" all the time. It is there little language. Jaden is pointing to the dill sign. Go Dill's!

See what I said about the cats? Here is another one. He was sure trying to get a bird. We just had to take a picture of him. He popped up out of nowhere! I think cats were watching over us on this trip!

I had John go across the street and take a picture for me. It would be perfect if I could edit out the truck! It was such a neat experience to walk through this beautiful house. We really enjoyed our visit. Next up was the Daughters of the Utah Pioneer Museum.
