Monkey Tree Valentine Days Box

Jalsye had to have a Valentine's day box for her class. Her teacher had made it into a contest. This is what I came up with, the monkey tree above. She loves, loves monkeys. She really did a lot of this on her own. She cut out everything, did the heart tree limbs by herself and put the monkey together. I helped her put the paper around the cylinder and helped her figure out how we were going to put the limbs in the tree. John cut her slot for her and I helped her pin back the paper. All and all she did most of this. I think she did a great job! She didn't win anything, but dang I think it sure is cute if I do say so myself!
