We just got back in from California, so I will have to post what we did on vacation, but Saturday night we took the kids to see an Owls Baseball game. (yes I forgot my camera)
The kids get free general admission tickets every year from school, we have just never used any before. We decided why not? so we went to a game. General admission is just on the grass, but it's very steep! You had to try to stop yourself from going down the hill. Once you got use to the sitting it was nice to watch a game. They have a nice play area for the kids, and Ellie sure enjoyed playing in it. She even made a new little friend for the night. They did little things between innings, lawnmower race, the race with the mascot and a bunch of other things. After the 6th inning they came on and wished happy birthday to people etc and one of the announcements said "and a Special Welcome to the Ortiz Family" What? A couple of people in my ward work there, so I thought it was them, but it was just my wacky husband! If you know my husband this is right up his alley. He paid a dollar that went to charity to say something over the loud speaker. We were all embarrassed! At least no one new it was us! The kids said they all just changed their last names. Jaden was Williams and Jalyse was Cool and well I just went back to my maiden name! He got us all. We had a great time, though the Owls were smoked out! 0 to 6.

Oh that is hilarious! How fun, though. I keep telling Jared that we need to take our kid to a baseball game.
