The last day, we were in San Diego, we went to the Wild Animal Park. You get to see the animals in more of a natural habitat, but man is it HOT! We should have gone earlier in the year. The first thing we did was go on a tram ride that went around a lot of the animals. Rhinos, gazelle, giraffes, Bison, Ostrich, etc. It was neat to see the animals up that close. Then we went to look at the cats. There was a Leopard that was so close to us! You got a great look at it. We saw this cute baby Tiger up close. It came up to the fence. I didn't take to many pictures here, I guess because we were all dying of the heat!

Very cute baby tiger, he was right up to us.

This was just a bird that was up in the tree. He was right on top of us. We could hear something as we were walking by and it was this bird. It was soooo close. The wild animal park is more spread out and there are different animals to see at different advantage points. It has a lot of open range areas. You could go on a balloon ride, zip line, more of an in depth jeep ride, motorized scooter things, (I can't remember the name of the two wheel things) and you could go on a burrow ride and you could even sleep there! They had a lot to do if you wanted to fork out the dough.

These were some Flamingos we saw. This is Jalyse's second most favorite animals. Boy did they smell good!
They had these cute turtle shells that two of the kids got there pictures taken in. Jalyse was a baby the last time I had her picture taken in one of them, but this time she didn't get in them.

This was an armadillo that we saw on the way out. There are different times of the day that you can go to certain places and see some animals and have a chat with the keepers. This is the only one we saw.
We did go to one show. We went to the bird show. It was just so hot we didn't spend as much time here as we would have liked too. More then anyhing, I have a slew of pictures from the bird show. I went a little crazy there, because we had a little star on stage with the birds!
