State Fair 2009

Get your blue ribbons ready, your fried food on and get to lookin at some animals, the State Fair is here! We love to go to the State Fair. We always have a great time. We skip the fried food, yes I know it's so good, but soooo expensive! and we skip the overpriced rides, but we still have a grand time! We started off by walking down and looking at the pigs. They only had a few babies this year. We went by and looked at the cows, holy stinky! then we went and saw more cows, goats and ended at the rabbits. Holy cute rabbits! I really considered buying one, tell you realize you are the one taking care of the thing! I already have to much to do, so no thank you cute white bunny! The girls ran into the balloon lady and they got animals made. They love balloon animals. Jalyse, of course, got a monkey and Ellie got a princess wand.
After the girls got there animals, we went and saw a show. This year, we saw a lot more shows, then we usually do. They were all new to us this year. (They all said they were from Florida, so I thought that was interesting)
We went and saw the shark show first. They had a 3 Nurse sharks and one Lemon shark. The man came and talked about the animals then he went in the tank with them. It was good and interesting to, but it was a little cheesy with some of the things he said and did. I took the girls to little hands on the farm and they had a fun time going through it. (Jaden is just to old for it! Oh how everyone is growing up)
We then made are way down to the alligator show. It was a really fun show. John said he liked it the best. It was so interesting and the guys were just so funny!
They had a bear show this year. I love bears! It was so neat to see them to the tricks and so them so close. Bruno, Bambi, Frank and Ginger, they were all so cute.
We had a great time! We love the State Fair!
Enjoy the slide show of our adventures at the Fair. Thanks Jen for helping me with it! Yeah me!! I figured it out!! Yippee!

Oh, I haven't been to the fair in YEARS... like possibly since I was in 7th or 8th grade! I really need to take my kids. Looks like you had fun. I'm glad your slideshow worked! :)
