Let the guilt begin.. bye bye kittens!

Well I have to say my little invaders are gone to the pound. Extreme guilt followed! Monday night, John, found the little darlings again in the engine of the van. He caught them both, but we couldn't find the cat carrier for cat one, so he got tossed outside. We caught the little gray one and found the cat carrier, then Tuesday morning I caught the black one. (I have a war wound to prove it! Even with gloves on he still got me!) I came home that morning from helping out at the school and soon discovered meowing there was another one! I got out of the car and just started yelling you have to be kidding me! I had never seen the orange one before! I hate to separate all of them, but I just couldn't deal with trying to catch another one! I feel plenty guilty with the two I already caught! I debated what to do with the cute little things, and I even walked up and down the road trying to find out who owned them. No such luck! I feel really bad about it, but off to the pound they went. Before dance class, on Tuesday, the kids and I went and took them in. Everyone was doing ok with it, but the minute we walked out the door Ellie burst into tears. Oh the guilt I feel over leaving them there! The poor things have 2 weeks to swim or well you know. They have to decide if they are even adoptable, and I really am not sure if they are. Sorry little kittens, I hope someone takes you home to a better life!
