Halloween Parade

The kids school always does a Halloween Parade. They have a great time wondering in and out of classrooms and into the Gym for the parents to see. This year Jalyse was the Queen of Hearts and Ellie was Madonna. Jaden is no longer in Elementary school, so he wasn't in my parade photos this year! My big 7th grader! He was Napoleon Dynamite.

Her card was a lot lower when she left the house! I guess she decided her way was better.

She had the costume from dance, so we added on a cape, a wig and a crown to make it into the Queen of Hearts she wanted.

I was Madonna this year for Halloween, so Ellie decided she wanted to be Madonna too. We had the skirt and the leotard from an old Dance costume, so we added on leg warmers, leggings, gloves and jewelry from the dress up box. She had the jelly shoes, so that was great! We tried to do things on the cheap this year. Thank heavens for old dance costumes!

She got to wear makeup to school, so she was thrilled to be Madonna!

John and I had a great time watching them. It is also fun to see what everyone else was for Halloween. I was surprised at how many were Dorothy, from the wizard of oz.
