We did one of our traditions! (from the post below) I didn't know if we were going to make it to any of them this year. Work has been too crazy!
We made it to Temple Square to see the lights. As usual, they are beautiful and so many to look at! We all thought the big tree, that was just full of red lights, was gorgeous! (Picture Above) We took Scott with us. This is the second year in a row we have taken him. It gives Jaden someone to hang out with.
We arrived there and the lights weren't on. Who knew they didn't come on when it got dark? We decided to go and have a look at the big nativity. We stayed and listened to the words that were spoken. It is always very well put together and President Monson said some words at the end of it.
We then walked around and saw all of the different light displays. The kids also like to walk around and find all of the different nativity's. They like to look at each one of them. The lights were very well put together and it was fun to see what colors they used. I really have to marvel at how well they have them on the trees. It is fun to have a look around and feel of the Christmas spirit.
The gang, minus the picture taker, John.
After the lights we always hit the Pie! That has been our tradition, so we have to keep that one up! The best pizza ever! We had a great time together. It's nice to celebrate Jesus birth in so many ways.
