The night before Christmas and all were at Grandma's house!

We went over to my mom and dad's house for Christmas Eve. This year, my dad, was really sick so he didn't join in to much. It didn't feel the same with out dad. We always have our traditional meal, ham, gratin potatoes, veggie, salad and roll. Thanks mom! We always have a Christmas program before the kids can open their gifts. The older girls put it together. We usually have some stories read. My mom usually reads to the kids, but this year the three oldest girls did the reading.

Dyaliny and Jalyse decided they were going to sing this year. They did a great job.

After the girls finished with the program it was time for the kids to gather in the living room Present time was here! Oh they all get so excited to see what they go this year. We usually draw names for the adults and get the kids all gifts. This year we decided to draw family names, so everyone had to come up with something for that family. My parents still bought gifts for the grand kids. We got my sister's family. We decided to get them movie tickets. They don't get to spend that much time together, so we thought that might be a fun thing for them to do together. We also started this year from oldest to youngest in opening the gifts. Hence Jaden, the oldest grandchild, got to go first.

Jaden got some Lego's from Grandma and Grandpa. He loves Lego's! he has so many of them they are covering his entire room. He makes all kinds of things with them. He is a very creative young man.

Jalyse, now she is my little crafty/book worm girl! Grandma and Grandpa gave her some books to read. She loves loves to read. She was very excited to receive them.

Ellie got a gift card to build-a-bear. She loves build-a-bear! We went and she got to make a dog named Sammy. Closest thing she will have to a dog! She wants one of those too, but alas she is allergic and I don't want to take care of it! Sorry Sammy will have to do!

My brother and his wife and little boy had us. They gave us this cool game, I have never played it, but so far the kids have twice, and a gift card to eat. We used that on Wed! Thanks Doug and Emily!

It is a tradition, in my family, to open a new pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve. We brought over the kids pajamas for them to open up at my mom's house.

Jalyse, of Course, got a new pair of monkey pajamas. She still loves her monkeys!

Now little, Ellie, well her daddy grabbed the wrong box! He brought something of Jaden's, so she didn't get to open up her pajamas. Sorry Ellie! She got some cute little hot pink/monkey numbers. They were so cute I couldn't pass up the monkeys!

After everyone got their pajamas on, they all ran off and played with their toys and each other. They love to play with their cousins! The adults, we played red hot yaht. I have to say it was strange not having my dad play with us. He stayed in his room the whole time, in and out of sleep. Poor dad!

We had a great time at my parents house and we came home and got ready for Santa to come on over. We had to track him on NORAD before Ellie would go to sleep! Christmas morning was coming!
