Yesterday, John, had his wisdom teeth out. I told him he was 20 years to late! He had a cavity in one of them, so the dentist just said to have them pulled out. Now, my superman, has never had anything done to him. Hardly gets sick and well has never been put under for anything. We were both nervous about how he was going to react to the anesthesia. I was with him for a bit in the room, then they started to hook him all up and that was my cue to leave. I was walking out of the room and they were putting him under. He doesn't remember much, he was out fast. It took them 5 to 10 minutes tops and his wisdom was all gone! Fastest 600 bucks I have ever seen! He woke up and he was delirious. I thought it was kinda funny, but glad he was alive! He told me, before he went under, he loved me just in case he should die. (Nice and reassuring to the lady you have been with for over 15 years!!!) The nurse said they usually fixate on something and that is what they keep saying. He kept asking if his teeth were gone, if it was all over. He kept saying it over and over. He even asked for his teeth back, so the nurse had to go retrieve them. He doesn't' remember any of this :) He was pretty out of it. After a day of being nursed, my superman seems to be back to his old self. Sure glad everything went well and the delirious, crazy man is still with me!
