A first.. skiing

Jaden went skiing last night with the YM/YW. They all went skiing at Sundance. It was his very first time ever on a pair of skis! I know we live in Utah, but it is so expensive I have never taken the kids. John has never been either. I grew up skiing, so I have a little guilt I haven't let them try it. Jaden had his turn last night and he said they made him take lessons. Yeah for Lessons! I was worried about how he would do and I am glad he was able to take them. I was worried he might hit a tree! (He learned on the same hill I learned on) He said they gave him skis, but no poles. really? He said he even asked for them and the lady said no. Well he sure had to use his balance and he said he fell a lot. I told him that usually happens when you are trying something new out. I hope he had fun. It brings back so many memories of skiing for me. Maybe next season I might have to take everyone out.
