I wish I could say I had lots of cute pictures of the girls having fun at the school carnival, but I don't have one. I was busy running a booth and John had the girls. No pictures! I am sure they had a great time, but I didn't get to see them play any of the games. I volunteered this year to help with the carnival. The theme was Worlds Fair. We had different booth's set up with themes from around the world. I was in charge of sandy candy, so mine was called the Saharan Sands. My mom and I made this very large sign with pyramids and sand, but I forgot to take a picture of it! (Thanks Mom!) Seriously my brain wasn't working on pictures but just on getting through the day. I had a steady long line the entire time. I had a parent help me and Jaden and the girls and even John ended up helping in the end. My booth was really popular! I sold out of all my tubes and I was the last one to close up. By the time I was done, I was exhausted! It was great fun and I am sure everyone loved eating their sandy candy!
The carnival does an auction, and since I was a room mom, we donated a basket from Miss. Perry's class; our book basket.
This is the book basket that I put together. The kids made homemade bookmarks to put in it too. I think it turned out cute. At the end of the carnival, Jalyse, ran into the auction and saw that it sold for 50 bucks. I am glad it was sold, but I wish it would have went for a little more money. They got a heck of a deal!
