Zoo Shows

We saw four different shows at the zoo. The first one we saw was the sea lion show, Sea Lions Rock!. This is really a kid favorite. The sea lion zips around and does all kinds of tricks.

They also brought out some birds, and this wolf. He also has a dog companion that is with him. It was really neat to see one.

This girl got to feed the sea lion and got a great big slimy kiss! It was a fun show.

We stayed late at the zoo, for zoo nights. They have an artistic show, Splash Animals. They create works of art in front of you by just random strokes on the canvas. You don't know what their doing tell their almost done. It is really neat to watch. They always create and endangered animal. They are trying to make you more aware of them.

The next show we saw was Dr Zoolittle. We didn't take any pictures, and really this show is for younger kids. It was a little science mixed in some crazy antics. He really just tricked people the whole show. Ellie liked it, but the rest of us, well it was a little young.

The last show we watched was the Frequent Flyer's Show. Apparently, we were to interested in the show and only took one picture. They had all kinds of different birds performing in the show and a few rats. They invited two people from the audience to come down and sit on a stump and take pictures of an owl flying towards them. The one person acted a little scared and when he got up 2 chickens ran by him and he fill into a pool of water that was on the set. We laughed so hard and thought really he is that scared of a chicken? They were so apologetic and let him go back stage to dry off and the show continued. He started to come out from the back and got scared again by the chicken and back in the water he went. It was so funny and you thought he was just so dumb! It turned out that he was just part of the show and he was one of the trainers. It really added to the show and it made it more interesting. It was really funny! It was fun to see the different birds and learn more about them.
