Scripps Birch Aquarium

When we were in San Diego we went to the Scripps Birch Aquarium. It is a great aquarium, but if you get the chance to go to the one in Long Beach, that is the best one we have ever been too.

Some pictures of the different species they had. The fist 3 are different sea horses, some of them were so interesting! Of course the last one is a clown fish, oh Finding Nemo!

These are my different species! Jalyse and Ellie. They had a play area with these in it. I couldn't resist taking their pictures with them.

Outside they had all kinds of interesting things and the shark tank. John and I just couldn't resist getting our picture taken in the shark tank! There is no way I would want to be in one of those in the ocean! I am not that big of a fan of sharks to have them in my face!

Outside they also had tide pools. You were able to touch some animals and they had some out there for you to look at. Jaden is next to a crab. John picked one up, does he not remember the tide pool etiquette?? He got in trouble! I had to laugh at him. Only one finger touches honey! We were also able to see them feeding the creatures in the tide pool.

They had a giant tank in the aquarium. It was full of fishes, sharks and even some eels. That was the best exhibit. We had a great time in the aquarium.
