Anderson Park

It was a Friday night and I just needed to get away from my computer. I had been working a ton and just wanted a break. John asked me what we should do for dinner and I said lets go up the canyon and have tin foil dinners. Usually he doesn't give into my spur of the moment requests, but he agreed to go. He just didn't want to go up the canyon, so we compromised and ended up at Anderson Park. It is a very basic park, nothing for the kids to play on etc. The scouts use it a lot. Next time we do this we are going up the canyon!

They have a steam that runs through the property, so the girls were having a fun time racing sticks and playing on the side of the stream.

This is the crew all hanging out at the park
John making our dinner.
They found it fun to play in the drinking fountain. The water squirted everywhere, so they ran through it to cool off.

We had a great little get away and a yummy dinner! Thanks honey for agreeing to go.
