We took the kids to the County Fair. It was fee admission and free parking, so we thought we would head down to Spanish Fork and check it out.
We started off in the kid zone. Ellie got her face painted and her and Jalyse got to make some crafts. They love love Crafts!
Then we went into see the animals. Lots and lots of sheep! There were a few cows, but row and rows of sheep. This one is getting a trim.
They had a few birds and other animals. I couldn't resist taking a picture of this one. Bad hair day anyone?
We then went in and checked out all of the entry's in vegetable growing, crafts, sewing, taxidermy and various other things. This cabbage was huge!
They had some pretty quilts and some very interesting dead stuffed animals. The coyote, my husband loved, but I didn't get any pictures of the dead things! Not up my alley.
We wondered around and looked at the rides, but they were way to much money, so no rides for anyone. We walked passed a display by the Sheriffs office and they had their dog. John just had to pet him. Ellie, my dog lover, wouldn't do it. I was surprised.
Cute blood hound dog with the hubby!
We walked down and saw some old farm equipment and the float Maceys had in the parade. My future float girl Ellie had to have her picture taken next to it.
We then walked across the street to a small auto show. John really liked this car. Then it was off to Sam's club for some slushies and ice cream. We had a fun time. We can't wait to go the the State Fair, that one is even better!
