Easter 2011

Easter 2011

My cute kids in their Easter outfits!

We had a great Easter this year. We had an Easter egg hunt at  our house and gave the kids their baskets before we headed over to my mom's house for dinner and another Easter egg hunt.

The hunt was on! We hid so many eggs and the kids all seemed to be having fun trying to find them! Even my big 14 year old! I think next year I might even hide some money. They are all getting so much older!

Jaden is always so thoughtful of how much everyone gets that sometimes he is left out!

Cute Jalyse hunting for eggs!

John helping direct the kids and trying to slow Ellie down! The girl was out of control! We had to remind her to share!

They all had a great time grabbing their eggs.

Finding their baskets!

We always play hot and cold with the kids to help them find their baskets. It is something that I use to do as a kid, so I have just continued it on with my kids. Jaden was the first one to find his basket. In the kids bathroom in the shower. He wasn't very surprised, apparently we hid it there last year too! oops!

He got candy and of course a video game that he had been wanting. What else does the kid ever want?

Jalyse was up next. Her basket was in our food storage room. Since she calls it her food storage room, we thought it was the perfect place for her basket. Love the surprised look on her face. She got a couple of new books, a new helmet and of course candy!

Ellie was up last and hers was under the computer. Since she spends so much time on the thing I thought that was the perfect spot! She was less then thrilled! She was being so grumpy! We didn't get her the correct color wonder, she wanted Toy Story 3, we got her the first one, o well! That she was so dang stinky! Got to love her face on the photo below. She wasn't happy at all! She got candy, a build a bear outfit and a color wonder explosion.

I love my family! We had a great time at our house and now it was off to Grandma's for more celebrations! I am grateful for Jesus for dying for us and making it possible to return back to God and to live on this great earth. It really is a great day to remember how blessed we all are.
