It is spring break this week. I wanted to do something on the only nice day we will have this week. (Its snowing outside as I type!!!) On Monday I decided to take them to the Tracy Aviary in SLC. I wanted to do something outside. Jaden ended up taking Scott with him and Jalyse's friend Abby called as we were getting ready to leave, so she got to invite her to come too. We had a nice time slowly walking around seeing all of the birds. Some of them you could see were still recovering from some injury. It wasn't very crowded so that was nice too. They have a lot of construction going on up there, so it will be interesting to see what it all looks like when they are done. Here are a few birds we saw:
The bald Eagle is all bandaged up. They got to feed a lot of ducks and a caretaker let them feed them at feeding time. John, got caught up in trying to have the birds come to him, and he got yelled out by one of the keepers. Way to go honey! They had a great time. We even saw this little chipmunk running around the trees. He gave us a show just on his own. After the Aviary John took everyone out for an ice cream cone. It was a fun day to get out and do something a little different.

Your dad needs to stay away from those birds before he gets a finger bit off or an eye poked out!
