Four Corners

On the way home, from Mesa Verde, Four Corners was about 35 miles away. We had to stop by and see the landmark. Jalyse had really wanted to see it, so we said sure we will go by. We were told it's in the middle of no where, which was fine, but we weren't prepared for it. I guess its on a Indian Reservation. You have to pay 3 bucks a person to get into see it! Now they had Indian vendors set up all around it with things to buy, now I thought that was just fine. I don't think that you should have had to pay to get in! You felt ripped off! I believe that the landmark belongs to all 4 states! Anyways just a warning if you decide to go there.

You get in there and park and they have the landmark in the middle. They have a little landing you can go up on and take pictures. The sign on it says only 2 people up there at a time. I was at the bottom waiting my turn, when I nice man butted in front of me. I usually don't speak up, but I told him I was next. He was very rude! My husband put him in his place. (Thanks Honey)
We had a nice couple that were driving a motorcycle back to Colorado take our family picture. We got a little carried away with pictures :)

Despite the initial shock of having to pay, it was neat to see. Each of us took are own picture on the marker. Everyone I have to say was unique in there way they got on all 4 spots!

This was just a random shot of the kids on the marker. Boy do they all look so excited! We had a great trip and we would love to go back to Mesa Verde again.
