Lowland Paca.. Tortoise
The paca had babies, they were really cute!
This was the very first animal we saw coming in the zoo. Then we got up close and personal with a bird that looks like an owl at an animal encounter. I can't remember what it was. I trainer had brought the bird out and you could see the bird and ask him questions. Then we ran into another animal encounter with the tortoise above.
Then we went down and got on the tram, the Journey into Africa. If you want to see a lot of the animals you need to take the tram. It will take you around to see a lot of animals in an open vast space. They are trying to make it like they were still in the wild. It costs extra, unless you have a pass.
This white rhino is endangered. The one lying down. There are only 4 of them left in the world. 2 of them are at the Wild Animal Park. They will go extinct in our lifetime.
The elephant overlook had so many babies in it this time. I was really surprised at how many elephants they had. We stayed awhile and watched them.
They have a primate island and of course we had to get lots of pictures. Jalyse's favorites!
This lion was amazing! He was up on that truck for the world to see him. He was like look at me I am king! He was sitting up top of that vehicle the whole day. He was the perfect picture!
There are tons more animals to see, and we did see most of them, I just didn't take pictures of them. We loved seeing the animals and watching them.
