Fall Break 2010

Oh break time! The kids were in such need of a break from school, so fall break was just on time! They had Thursday and Friday off of school last week. John decided he would take Thursday off to spend the whole weekend with the family. (Friday he has off already) We haven't seen much of him lately so it was nice for him to take a day off!

Thursday..
Jaden and Scott went to visit a Veterinarian hospital for a requirement for one of the merit badges they are doing for the up coming BYU powwow. I wanted to get that one out of the way.
I spent my day running last minute errands, cleaning some and praying I could get hair to turn out! We had family pictures taken that night. They are so stressful! I have hair, for 3, outfits to coordinate for all and makeup, jewelry, getting everyone on time, etc. Always falls to the mom! I now no why its been 2 years since I had them done! Friday...
We spent the day getting some errands done and Ellie got to play with a couple of friends. After lunch we headed to Trafalga! We have our pass, so we took the kids there to play. We tried the Orem location this time.
Slick track was up first! Wow I didn't know how fun that was! We had 5 minutes to race around the track. We all had a blast! Jalyse and Jaden had their own cars and Ellie was with John. I was really trying to get some pictures of them racing, but it was kinda hard with driving! I got a few.

Our whole family out there and two other cars, so we felt like we had the track to ourselves! We all had a blast!

We will defiantly have to go back and race the cars again. We really had a great time.

Next up was black light indoor miniature golf! We decided we would try the black light course. It looked fun!

My kids are still learning to play but I think everyone of them improved. We just need to work on Ellie and her swooshing the ball along with her club! I think they all enjoyed it more this time.

Saturday...

I went to my mom's Super Saturday. I had a project for a gratitude chart that I wanted to make for Christmas. Well it wasn't ready so I just kinda spent the time trying to cut out material for a costume I am working on and just hanging out with my mom. I will post it if I can get it finished. I am not a seamstress!

John spent the day home with the kids trying to work on the basement bathroom. He needed to get the flange in so he could tile around the toilet and get the tile done. Well when I came home there wasn't much done. Oh the toilet mess. That's another post!

We had a great weekend.. (ok really minus Saturday to much stress) It was nice to hang out as a family and spend some time together. The kids all still want to be on vacation.. I wish...
