Firsts

We have had some notable firsts lately:

Jaden went target shooting for the first time. Oh I was a little nervous! He went with his best friend Scott and some of Scott's family. Andrew really knows his stuff, when it comes to guns, so I knew he would be safe, but still I was a little nervous! I have never even held a gun and neither has John, so I thought Jaden should get the opportunity to at least learn how to use one. Oh a growing moment for Jaden and I. He is getting to be such a big kid, and his height isn't shabby either!

Jalyse got to babysit for super Saturday on the 9th. Her very first babysitting job. She had to watch a bunch of kids in the nursery. Boy she is growing up so fast! She was tired by the time she was done. I told her its not so easy to watch a bunch of kids!

Jalyse also lost her first volleball game. They are now 3-1. They only lost by 2 points, so they did an amazing job! Jalyse was able to serve it over the net two times, so I think it was a great day for her!

We took the kids to play miniature golf. It was our first time using our pass of all passe's. I realized very fast that none of my kids no how to play! Oh boy was it funny watching them try and hit the ball! By the end of next year they all should be pros! This was Ellie's second only time playing miniature golf.

I love my kids and it is so neat to see them grow up. They could slow down just a little though!
